Service Description

During an Initial Lactation Consultation, we will cover all of the important aspects to help you get started breastfeeding, including understanding your baby's hunger cues, comfortable positioning, getting the best latch possible, how to tell when your baby is getting milk and when they are full. In this appointment, we will also cover infant care and sleep patterns to help you get as much rest as possible during this transition to parenthood. We will discuss any issues or questions that arise to help you get off to a great start! Appointment time: 30min + email & text support Please Note: Full-length Initial Appointments are usually 1-2 hours depending on the individual needs of the Mother/Baby Dyad. Please let us know if you would like to book a different length of appointment. We are looking forward to helping you resolve your breastfeeding issues and help you reach your goals!
